NASPA understands your concerns for privacy and it remains our concern and priority. We do not sell or share your information with outside parties. Please click here to access and view the NASPA Privacy Policy for more details and information on how we use your information. You can manage and control your data privacy via the My Data Privacy section of your NASPA.org profile.
Below are some ways you can control how your information is shared or given on your NASPA profile.
- Membership Directory - NASPA Members have access to our Member Directory, a resource that allows them to network with and connect with colleagues in the field. Only NASPA members have access to this directory, and it is not publicly available.
- Image Use - You can opt-out of the use of your likeness/image by NASPA in photographs or videos. Please note that it will be the member's responsibility to avoid being photographed in group photos at our events.
- E-Mail Communications- You can control which kind of e-mails you get via the Communication Preferences page of your profile. You can opt in for specific types of communications to receive from NASPA including General Updates, Region Updates, and unsubscribing from e-mails completely.
- Event Sponsors - When registering for NASPA events, you will be given the option to share your contact information (mailing address, email, or both) with our sponsors for the event. You have the option to opt out of this at the time of registration, and it is not mandatory for event attendance.
- Account Deletion - Unfortunately there is no current way to delete profiles permanently from our system. If you are no longer wishing to be involved with NASPA, please let us know and we can flag your account as inactive. Before doing this, we recommend going through your profile and removing any information you would not like stored in the account (i.e. email, phone number, etc.).
